Was created because filmmakers deserve better tools. We heard from cinematographers complaining about how cumbersome the built in tools within FCPX are. Color wheels and curves will ultimately get the job done, but they aren't efficient or intuitive. We were inspired by the simplicity of Adobe Lightroom's interface. It has all of the powerful professional tools of programs such as Davinci Resolve, yet it's laid out in the simplest and most efficient way possible. For many filmmakers, color grading is just one step in the lengthy process of all the things we do to make our films cinematic masterpieces. Cinemagic set out to make the color grading stage of the process as efficient and enjoyable as possible.
